The team leader is responsible for the leading and directing the overall operation of a specific area within the DC operation. This area may be inductions, outbound, inbound, loading, or other areas. The team leader directs the activity of the employees working in their specific area.
The DC Operations Manager partners with the DC Director and General Manager to develop and implement strategies that drive continuous improvement and maximize productivity and efficiency to reduce overall costs. Is responsible for ensuring a continuous stream of talent to sustain organizational growth and improve operations by attracting, retaining, and developing team members and meet their needs for career growth. The DC Operations Manager must be knowledgeable in all facets of the Distribution Center (DC), overseeing or partnering with multiple functions that include but aren’t limited to: Inbound Operations (Receiving and Putaway), Replenishment, Outbound Operations (Selection, Shipping and E-commerce), Transportation, Customer Service Associates, and General Office Associates. The Operations Manager operates under limited management supervision.
General Warehouse I - this team member is responsible for processing various types of merchandise for the Distribution Center by utilizing standard operating procedures. Pick, pack, or store merchandise according to established procedures and/or directed by manager.
Material Handler I - operates an Electric Pallet Truck and/or Tugger (Tow Tracker) to move inventory throughout the building according to the task assigned. Uses a handheld scanner to record inventory movements and to receive replenishment and other tasks.
Material Handler II - operates various pieces of powered equipment including Standing Reach and Order Picker to move inventory throughout the building according to the task assigned. Uses a handheld scanner to record inventory movements and to receive replenishment and other tasks.
