Material Handler I -  operates an Electric Pallet Truck and/or Tugger (Tow Tracker) to move inventory throughout the building according to the task assigned. Uses a handheld scanner to record inventory movements and to receive replenishment and other tasks.


Operate equipment in a safe and trained manner

Accurately record LPN moves on the HJ scanner

Understand and implement replenishment and staging functions and procedures as directed

Assist team in moving and staging of products for picking, loading and unloading

Utilizes HJ scanner to record inventory moves and receive task

Accurately completes all paperwork as needed

Maintains an organized, clean and safe work environment, including picking up trash and reporting all safety hazards and incidents to proper personnel

Follows all Company and OSHA safety guidelines

Maintain attendance according to company policies

Performs other duties as assigned



High School diploma or GED strongly preferred; combination of education and experience may be considered

Ability to pass required Equipment Operator Training for applicable equipment

Ability to operate equipment in a safe manner

• Ability to understand written and/or oral instructions

Ability to follow instructions accurately

• Must be easily trainable and a quick learner

Self-starter and be able to work independently

Must be able to work in a fast pace environment

Ability to work under times lines and schedules

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed

Ability to perform daily equipment checks

Must be able to work with others in a team environment

• Ability to stand and work on concrete floor for extended periods of time

Ability to work extended works hours as needed or during peak weeks

Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
