Overview

Talent & Culture Coordinator (Store Support) is a professional who provides administrative support and coordination for Talent & Culture functions. They act as a liaison between the field Talent & Culture team and the central Talent & Culture department and other company functions like training or store operations. They play a key role in supporting daily Talent & Culture functions, facilitating communication, and ensuring smooth operations within the field locations. They are essential in supporting the employees’ experience and aligning Talent & Culture processes with business goals. 

Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Providing administrative support to the Talent & Culture field function, including coordination of correspondence, data, audits, and record keeping.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding Support: Assisting with recruitment efforts by coordinating interview schedules, managing candidate communications, and supporting onboarding activities.
  • Staying Informed: Keeping up to date on current state and federal laws and basic human resource practices. 
  • Employee Relations: Responding to employee inquiries and grievances, assisting with employee investigations, and escalating issues to the appropriate Talent & Culture team members when necessary.
  • Data Management: Maintaining and updating employee records while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. This may include tracking employee information and generating reports.
  • Training and Development Support: Communicating with the training team, assisting with training class enrollments, and supporting training initiatives.
  • Reporting: Compiling and presenting reports on Talent & Culture activities, such as recruiting, development, and recognition efforts.
  • Other duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of HR or administrative experience, with internship experience being considered.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with HR systems and databases.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with employees, vendors, and leadership.
  • Strong ability to interact with diverse individuals and build relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage information and prioritize tasks.
  • Decision-Making Skills: Ability to make sound judgments.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulousness and accuracy in handling sensitive information.
  • Time Management Skills: Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. 
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time
