he Import Coordinator will be responsible for managing the flow of all inbound merchandise imported from countries outside of the United States.
Responsibilities
Support all import operations in accordance with company direction and procedures · Support the routing, tracing, and monitoring of all shipments to ensure timely deliveries
Update reports, create unload priorities and volume summaries for inbound operations ·
Work with the Merchandising team to resolve shipment issues with vendors to mitigate disruptions to the Supply Chain
Ability to execute and maintain import policies and operating procedures to ensure efficient and compliant shipments
Assist in resolving any issues in relates to booking with vendor/origin office communicatios.
Maintain data integrity in all operating systems related to Supply Chain
Work with Sr. Manager, International Transportation to plan and execute yearly contracts with ocean carriers, intermodal providers and drayage companies

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain or Retail Supply Chain is preferred
A combination of equivalent work and education may be considered
Must be detail oriented, respond to rapidly changing priorities, deal with multiple demands, strong analytical aptitude, good organizational and follow-up skills
Great verbal and written communicator, able to communicate and interact with internal and external partners
Proficient use of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of WMS, InforNexus & Oracle a plus
Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time
